Dripping Compositions

From afar, Beth James's paintings look almost like hanging threads of different lengths and colours — but look closer and the lines reveal themselves to be delicate drips of paint that trickled down and absorbed into the paper. It's an unusual way of painting, but the combination of drips and colours creates a work that feels calm and contemplative.
