Roman "Mini-Drake" Pesinot

When 10-year-old Roman Pesino joined the Lil Ballas two years ago, it was a dream come true. Performing at a number of sold-out games during the Raptors Championship Playoff run, he was front and centre for it all. On themed nights, they even transformed him, fake beard and all, into one of his idols — Drake. During one "Mini-Drake" dance, …Aubrey himself looked over and showed his approval.

Wyatt Moss

In this episode of The Move 3: Kids, 12-year-old Wyatt shows us how to do a beautiful Chaîné turn and speaks from the heart about the bullying he's faced as a boy who dances. "I can always try to be someone else and try my hardest to be like someone else, but I will always be who I am."

Theland Kicknosway

Theland's parents were stripped of their cultural understanding and identity from a young age. Now, his mother Elaine Kicknosway works diligently to immerse him in the culture that was denied to her, believing that his understanding of hoop dance elicits pride and healing not only within him, but for the community at large.

Tessa Kozma

Splitting her passion between dancing, acting, and...being 11, Tessa's most intensive period of study in dance has been the Professional Program at Canada's National Ballet School. It was an experience that moved her away from her Oakville home into residence and provided a unique opportunity to focus solely on ballet. While difficult at times, she credits that period for improving every facet of her dance and giving her a more realistic perspective on perfection.

Michaela Beck

As a child, Michaela Beck would watch shows like Hannah Montana and The Next Step and dream about becoming a dancer. But growing up in Brockville, Ont. — a beautiful small town in the Thousand Islands region — she had access to only four dance studios. She trained, excelled, and started dancing competitively, but soon found most of those local studios closing their doors to her.

Khiyla Aynne

Most people would be lucky to go viral once in their lives. At 12 years old, Khiyla Aynne has already done it a few times.

In 2016, she was one of four children chosen to dance onstage with Justin Bieber during his song "Children" for the Purpose World Tour in Toronto. A year later, she struck viral gold again: after submitting a dance routine to The Ellen Show (choreographed by Bizzy Boom) with her girl squad Naima Philips and Ajanae Stephenson, Ellen invited them on to perform it on air.

Izzy Watson

Dance runs in Izzy Watson's family — he can remember dancing with his older sisters when he was as young as four years old. Now, at nine, he's already schooling future generations on the art of Dancehall.

Mats Nixon

Tap may not be as popular as it once was, but 17-year-old Mathias "Mats" Nixon is on a mission to change that. In his eyes, the way forward is actually to look back and reconnect with the origins of tap dance.

Ethan Burden

At only 15 years old, he's part of the new school of poppers, but Ethan Burden will amaze you with the maturity of his body control. Stuttering, hitting, and cutting to the beat, he loses himself to the will of the music and then quickly switches pace and directions into something smooth and silky.
